DraftKings Tax Form 2026: W-2G, 1099-MISC & Where to Download
Quick answer: DraftKings issues two tax forms β a W-2G for qualifying sportsbook and casino wins, and a 1099-MISC for DFS or promotional winnings totaling $600 or more. Both are downloadable from the DraftKings Tax Center by January 31 and reported on Schedule 1, Line 8b of Form 1040. Losses are deductible up to 90% of winnings on Schedule A.
Which DraftKings tax form applies to me?
The form you receive depends on the product you played and how much you won. DraftKings is legally required to send copies of both to the IRS β so an unreported form is one of the fastest ways to trigger a mismatch letter.
| Product | Form | Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Sportsbook | W-2G | Single wager wins $600+ at β₯300-to-1 odds |
| Casino slots / bingo | W-2G | Single win of $1,200+ |
| Keno | W-2G | Net win of $1,500+ |
| Poker tournament | W-2G | Net win of $5,000+ |
| DFS / promo credits | 1099-MISC | Aggregate $600+/year |
